Abraham Lincoln – preserved the United States of America through the darkest period of our existence. His impact on our country is felt to this day.
Lincoln knew heartache – real heartache. The heartache of sending armies of Americans against armies of Americans. Who can fathom the responsibility of holding a nation together while so many died trying to tear it apart?
How could he stand up under such immense pressure and pain? What would he say to us today as we see Americans fighting Americans in our streets? What counsel would he give to those who are wracked with heartache?
“To ease another’s heartache is to forget one’s own.”
I know these are trying days. I know many of you are challenged by health concerns, by financial concerns, by family concerns, and by concerns for the future of our great nation.
Please step away from those concerns for a day and help us ease the heartache of those families of our military vets who have lost their lives or been disabled in the service of the United States. And in doing so ease your own.
Please join us on 9/11 as we remember and give back by supporting Folds of Honor.
God bless all of you and God bless America.
Please allow us to serve you and those you love.
Thank you,
Gene
P.S. Please join us in the More than Money World Headquarters on 9/11.
